Love of Love

It's true.  I love love. 

And that's why I love animals as the subject of my art.

Pets, especially, are  my teachers of unconditional love.  They don't care if I'm being grumpy, or sad, or broke,  they love me without any filters.  They love me completely, no matter what. 

Even more remarkably, they also love themselves unconditionally.  They're not self critical or self conscious.  They're fully present in the moment, whether they're laying around- looking out like the queen of the world, or playing with a ball, or anticipating a treat.  

And best of all, are the moments when my cat or dog just comes up and sits by me, blissfully gazing at me  as if there were nothing in the world quite as divine as just being  with me.  

Ahhh.  I do love love!
